Health, Safety & Environment
The Health, Safety and Environment page is the most visited page on the BookMyCourse site and the page which attracts most delegate bookings, both for open courses and dedicated courses running on customers’ sites. The three course categories that have attracted by far the most bookings have been, SMSTS and Site Safety Plus, IOSH Managing Safely and NEBOSH General Certificate. We have more locations for Site Management Safety Training (SMSTS) and IOSH Managing safely than any other training provider in the UK.

Safety Passport Alliance (SPA) courses and IEMA courses have also done well, especially the IEMA Internal audit and Advanced Lead EMS auditor courses. Interest in the IEMA courses and other Environmental Management courses has increased with the current resurgence in ISO 14001 Environmental Management System implementations.

Quality & Improvement
Many companies are finding it more difficult to successfully get through Pre-Qualification for tenders and contracts, and not surprisingly, there has been resurgence in the need for formal registration against ISO9001 for quality management, ISO14001 in Environmental Management and OHSAS 18001 for Health and Safety Management. We have noticed this especially within the Construction Sector. As a result, the most popular courses have been awareness courses in these disciplines individually and courses on Integrated Management Systems development, internal auditor courses and Lead auditor courses, especially the 5 day IRCA registered lead auditor courses. Other courses that have done well during the last 12 months have been courses relating to Lean and Six Sigma and the Balanced Score Card.

We are also noticing a trend in increased bookings for course related to ISO 27001 & IT Governance.

Human Resources and Training
Within this area of the BookMyCourse site the Trainer Training courses were the most popular including CIEH Professional Trainer courses, ILM endorsed Train the Trainer, First Aid Train the Trainer, and Manual Handling Instructor training.

Courses within the Recruitment, Selection and Interviews, Stress Management and
Training Needs Analysis categories also remain popular.

IT & Computing
Within IT and Computing the categories that have attracted most bookings are training courses relating to Microsoft products, especially Microsoft Sharepoint and Microsoft Project.

All ISEB categories have done well, with bookings more evident in the Business Systems Development category and especially Business Analysis Essentials courses.

Business and Management
The most popular courses within the Business and Management Section were Project Management courses, including PRINCE2™ and PMI® (The Project Management Institute) and the Bid and Tender Management courses.

Sales & Marketing
With this area of the site, the Ecommerce and Internet Marketing category has attracted the most bookings, not surprising with the increasing power of web marketing techniques and the need for better understanding of Search Engine Optimisation techniques and of products marketing products like Google Adwords and Google Analytics.

The Telephone Skills and Telesales category has also faired well, reflecting the need for training staff in these selling techniques and the requirement to improve customer service.

Finance, Law and Accounting
On the Finance, Law and Accounting page, Credit and Debt Control training courses were the most popular, which is not surprising given the current economic climate, followed by courses within the Markets, Trading & Derivatives category and then by Finance for Non Financial Managers.

Specialised Sectors
Within the specialised sectors, the categories that have performed well have been, Construction & Allied Trades, Electrical and Engineering, especially IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations full courses and update courses and Pharmaceutical courses relating to clinical trials.
