NEBOSH National Environmental Certificate:  The NEBOSH National Certificate in Environmental Management is designed to provide a sound foundation in environmental management.

The NEBOSH National Certificate in Environmental Management course is aimed at Managers, supervisors and employees based in the UK, who have responsibility for managing environment issues, as part of their day to day duties. The qualification focuses on UK environmental law and environmental management systems. It also provides a foundation for progression to the NEBOSH National Diploma in Environmental management.

The NEBOSH National Certificate in Environmental Management is divided into two units; NEC1 and NEC2. A brief overview of the units is given below, with further details in course overviews.

- Planning for and dealing with environmental emergencies

NEBOSH National Certificate in Environmental Management Unit NEC2 – Environmental practical application. Here the candidate is required to complete an environmental review of the candidate’s own workplace and complete a report with recommendations for the management team regarding the environmental review.
