Will I find cheaper courses if I book directly with the Training Provider?
All Training Providers using the BookMyCourse web site commit to providing courses at prices that do not exceed their standard course prices, and in many instances the courses are discounted. In particular courses may be heavily discounted for late availability or for early bookings, and these course places may only be available through the BookMyCourse web site.

Are my credit or debit card details secure?
The BookMyCourse web site uses Protx (a division of Sage (UK) Limited). Protx provides secure online credit and debit card payment solutions for thousands of online businesses across the UK. Protx is a fully approved payment processor with all major UK acquiring banks.

All transaction information passed between merchant sites and the Protx VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Protx servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

What is a “Subject to Availability” Booking?
Many of the courses on the BookMyCourse site are updated in real-time or a least daily by the Training Providers who supply the courses. However, in some instances a Training Provider will set-up an event where they do not intend to update course availability. In these instances the course event will be indicated as a “Subject to Availability”. In many cases these courses will still have availability but this needs to be confirmed. Once you have completed the booking procedure, the Training Provider has two working days to either accept the booking or not, and you will be notified of the results by email. No monies will be deducted from your account until the booking has been confirmed.

What happens after a booking has been confirmed?
Once your booking has been confirmed you will receive an email with details relating to the course that you have booked. The process is then handed over to the Training Provider who will then send out joining instructions directly to you before the course starts.

Please contact the Training Provider directly if you have any queries relating to the course arrangements.

Following course completion the Training Provider will issue any appropriate course certification or attendance/ID cards directly to you. These do not come via Book My Course Limited.

You will also receive a QA questionnaire from Book My Course Limited. This is an essential component of our continual improvement program. We want to know about your course experiences, good or bad and we will ensure that Training Providers are aware of the feedback we receive.

What happens if I want to cancel a course booking?
We understand that course cancellations will happen from time to time. If you need to cancel a course you must notify us by email, quoting your name and the booking reference. Unfortunately we cannot process verbal cancellations. The course will then be cancelled in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the original booking. Where refunds are due they will be transferred back to the original card on which the booking payment was made, and an email notification/credit note will be sent to you as confirmation of the cancellation.

What happens if a Training Provider cancels a course?
Fortunately this is rare, but can happen. In the event of a cancellation, Training Providers on our web site commit as part of their terms and conditions to re-arrange the booking at another date and time acceptable to both parties and at the same value as the original booking. If this is not possible Book My Course Limited will reimburse the value of the booking in full and without delay

How does BookMyCourse select its Training Providers?
Book My Course Limited only recruits reputable and appropriately qualified Training Providers. Before recruiting providers preliminary evaluation is carried out to verify the credentials of the Training Provider. Once a Training Provider is recruited to the site, our continuous monitoring of QA standards ensures that Training Providers meet high standards of delivery. Any Training Provider who cannot maintain high standards will not retain their position on our site.

Why does BookMyCourse charge 25p per minute to telephone?
The answer to this one is fairly simple. As a web based business we are always striving to improve the site to make information easier to access and courses easier to book. By automating these processes to the highest possible levels we reduce our support costs and can continue to offer excellent prices.

It’s not that we don’t want to talk to customers it’s just that we need to cover costs in a way that is fair to all customers. If we were to staff a call centre without a contribution to these costs we would have to increase course prices for all.


Why do search results distances to Northern Ireland addresses not show up from GB and vice versa?
Unfortunately the geo-mapping software cannot account for the hop between the two islands. If your location is within Northern Ireland all mileages to other locations within Northern Ireland will be calculated but not on the mainland, and vice versa.
