CPCS (A60) - Mobile Cranes - All Duties

The CPCS A60 mobile crane operator course is aimed at those who operate mobile cranes in a construction environment.

There are three separate endorsements for this category; these are:

  • CPCS A60A: Mobile Crane – Blocked Duties
  • CPCS A60B: Mobile Crane – Pick and Carry Duties
  • CPCS A60C: Mobile Crane – All Duties

Those who take and pass the A60C CPCS course: Mobile Crane – All Duties, will be qualified for A60A and 60B automatically.

There are two crane operator course levels available, dependent on experience. Foundation/Novice courses are aimed at those who have less than two years recent experience in their job role. Experienced Worker courses are for those who have more than 2 years recent and consistent experience operating Mobile Cranes.

All candidates regardless of skill level must have taken and passed the CSCS Health, Safety and Environment test within the last two years.

Those who successfully pass this CPCS crane training course will be awarded the Red CPCS Card in this category. Possible follow-on courses include CPCS A66C or A66D Compact Crane Operator, CPCS A62 Crane Supervisor or CPCS A61 Appointed Person.

Private Individuals who wish to undertake CPCS training for this or any other category should read our article on CPCS Training and the Private Individual before making a booking. Please contact us for any further information.
