There are no pre-requisites for this General Awareness Temporary Works course online and candidates are not required to have any previous knowledge about working within temporary works. The General Awareness course may be useful for candidates who wish to take the Temporary Works Co-ordinator or Supervisor courses later (either online or in a classroom environment when possible) to undertake this course prior to attending either of these courses will provide a basic knowledge of temporary works. It is not a pre-requisite for progressing to these courses, however.

This CITB temporary works course is intended as an awareness course only and briefly covers what temporary works is, common issues and the management and supervision processes.
This Online CITB course includes the following elements:
After attending the full day of training and successfully completing an assessment, delegates will receive a CITB accredited certificate which is valid for five years.
The TWGATC course is delivered in this format is delivered through Online Virtual Classroom-based training and includes a multiple-choice test.
Delegates will be required to show original photographic identification via video link.
This temporary works course online will be remotely delivered by a tutor in a virtual online classroom and delegates must have access to a suitable PC, laptop or tablet with a robust high-speed internet connection sufficient to cope with online delivery. Delegates will also need a suitably sized quiet room where they can carry out the course without interruptions.
