Confined Spaces
A number of people are killed or seriously injured in the UK each year in confined spaces and unfortunately those that try to rescue them are often also at risk due to poor training. Training courses under this category relate to the very specific health and safety requirements associated with these high risk areas of work. The Confined Spaces Regulations 1997 place clear duties on employers in respect of work carried out by employees in confined spaces. Work within a confined space must be carried out only in accordance with a safe system of work.

Courses in this section include:
• Course aimed at the management of confined spaces, offering managers and supervisors a thorough understanding of the risks associated with confined spaces and their management.
• Practical courses designed for those entering confined spaces with escape breathing apparatus or full working breathing apparatus.
• Courses which include basic first aid, CPR, and resuscitation.
