CPCS Training - Dumper Courses (A09): This category of CPCS Plant training is aimed operators of dumpers. CPCS training courses are designed to lead to Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) qualifications, which allow those holding a valid qualification to carry a CPCS card.

A typical novice A09 CPCS dumper course would include both theoretical and practical training such as, developing skills and knowledge associated with the dumper, site safety awareness, operating safety code, control familiarisation, pre-start checks and refuelling, operating practices whilst unladen and laden and loading and unloading practices.

The CPCS technical test at the end of the course includes a theory and practical test.

As with other CPCS categories there are foundation or novice courses for those with little experience and as well as experienced worker courses. Course choice will depend on how much experience the delegate has.
