The CPCS A61 – Appointed Persons (Lifting Operations) Course is designed for Managers and Supervisors or anybody with the day-to-day responsibility for planning lifting operations. The course aims to instruct delegates how to safely plan a lifting operation to ensure compliance with the law and secure the health and safety of all employee’s and of those who may be affected by their actions. This includes an ability to plan a lift, interpret and apply sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the BS 7121 Safe Use of Cranes and to understand the LOLER Regulations.

Please note that delegates must be able to satisfy pre-requisites before enrolling on this course.
