Remote delivery of the CITB Directors Role for Health and Safety course became an option when the CITB changed the scheme rules in response to the Coronavirus Pandemic to allow delivery of CITB Site Safety Plus Courses online in virtual classroom format.

The CITB Directors Role for Health and Safety online training course is a one-day course suitable for company directors and senior executives This version will be delivered remotely through an online platform such as Zoom or similar.

CITB Course Online Detail

The CITB created the Directors Role for Health and Safety course to encourage those in senior positions to promote and manage a positive health and safety culture within the workplace.

This online version of the course covers everything that would be covered in a conventional training session at a training centre or workplace.

Candidates who attend the CITB Directors Role for Health and Safety course online will learn:

• The necessity of analysing legal responsibilities in line with legislation
• The duties of company directors
• The significance of risk assessments
• The implications of working in a dangerous environment
• The legal, social and moral obligations of implementing positive health and safety culture

The course is then assessed with a multiple-choice test at the end of the day.
