Course Overview

The two-day Temporary Works Co-ordinator Training Course is designed to assist those on site who have responsibility for managing all forms of Temporary Works. This course is not a general awareness course, its main focus is teaching roles and responsibilities a Temporary Works Coordinator would have.

The Temporary Works Co-ordinator Training Course is to give confidence to Senior Management to ensure management systems are suitable and sufficient when undertaking Temporary Works on a project, it identifies and covers the risk and safety management process outlined in the Temporary Works Code of Practice BS5975.

Course Content 

The course will identify 3 key areas of Temporary Works risk management

Planning, Design and Implementation. This will include identifying Temporary Works, Preparing Design Briefs and Establishing Design Check Categories, Risk Classification, Permits, Temporary Works Registers, Design Check Certification, Experience Checks and all this encompasses the role of Temporary Works Co-ordinator (TWC).
