Course Overview
Course Dates

This course is aimed at site supervisors to provide an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues on construction sites. This allows them to site supervisors to ensure they are meeting the compliance of the companies and industry health and safety requirements. The course runs over a total of 5 days of theory training with an exam at the end of course. This course is CITB certificated.

Course Content

The SSSTS course content (CITB) includes:

- Health & safety law
- Developing a health & safety management system
- Occupational health – drugs and alcohol
- Fire prevention & control
- vRisk assessments and method statements
- Hazardous substances
- CDM
- Working at height
- PPE
- Manual handling
- Accidents and first aid
- Toolbox talks

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a CITB accredited certificate which is valid for five years.

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
