Who Should Attend:

This course is designed for first line managers, foremen, gangers, team leaders and supervisors who currently hold an in-date SSSTS (CITB) certificate and wish to renew it.

Benefits of SSSTS:

The SSSTS course is recognised as the standard requirement for all supervisors by many companies. Alongside this there are also many benefits of studying the course. Including the receipt of an industry recognised certificate. The candidate will also develop new and existing skills. Furthermore, the course is a requirement when applying for a Gold FISS CSCS card.

Course Contents:


The refresher SSSTS course is for people who have previously passed the full course. Due to the completion of the full course the refresher programme is shorter, lasting just one day. It will include an update of health and safety knowledge. The course also includes, an overview of any legal changes, and an introduction of new topics. Finally, the course also includes a brief review of the topics previously studied

Certification:


Upon successful completion, delegates will achieve a CITB accredited certificate which is valid for five years.

Pre-requisites:


All delegates must have an in-date SSSTS certificate in order to sit the course.

Online Training: 

Candidates will require:

- A form of photo ID
- A quiet room, free from distractions, to complete the course in 
- A laptop/computer with fast internet connection, webcam, speakers and microphone
The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
