SMSTS Training Refresher (CITB) - Site Management Safety Training Scheme

Summary

The CITB Construction Skills SMSTS (Refresher) Course is designed to refresh your understanding of your key responsibilities and accountability for site safety, health, welfare and the environment, to enable you to provide healthy and safe working conditions for everyone on site.

The SMSTS qualification is mandatory for those who want to work as Site Managers on sites for main contractors who are part of the United Kingdom Contractors group. The course covers all relevant legislation and other aspects which affect safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries.

This course is endorsed by the United Kingdom Contractors Group (UKCG) as the standard training for all supervisors working on UKCG sites. Grants for these training courses are available to CITB Levy Payers.
