• Overview and changes to the current legislation affecting construction.
• Working at Height Regulations 2005
• Control of Substances Hazardous to Health 2002
• Vibration at Work Regulations 2005
• Noise at Work Regulations 2005
• Fire on Construction Sites
• Construction waste and site waste management plans.

·        Entry requirements:

·        You musthold a valid SMSTS certificate, which has been gained within the last fiveyears. This qualification must be renewed every five years by attending thisSMSTS Refresher course. You must also have a good understanding of spoken andwritten English. Please contact us if you have any concerns in this area.

·        Assessment and exams:

·        This is ahighly interactive course delivered by means of case studies, classroomdiscussion, and group work and individual/group presentations. In addition youwill be required to undertake some self-study outside of the course.  Youwill be continuously assessed and required to successfully complete amultiple-choice test.

·        Qualifications/certification:

·        Uponsuccessfully completing the course you will be awarded a CITB Site SafetyPlus certificate.
