Who Should Attend?
This course is for site managers already in possession of SMSTS certification, who need to renew.
Course Aims
The course aims to refresh your understanding of your key responsibilities and accountability for site safety, health, welfare and the environment.
- A review of recent changes to health, safety and welfare and environmental legislation and how this affects the role of Site Managers.
- A review of any proposed or impending legislation, which might affect the role of the Site Manager.
- The implementation of changes required by new legislation, latest HSE Guidance and best practices.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a CITB accredited certificate which is valid for five years.
Please note that as of the 1st January 2016, CITB Site Management / Site Supervisor certificates will no longer have a six month grace period and candidates will need to attend a Refresher course before the expiry date of their original certificate.
