SA007 - Asbestos Awareness

This accreditation covers the requirements for asbestos awareness. It provides learners with the knowledge and skills of the hazards and potential risks associated with asbestos and the health and safety legislation related to this hazardous material. This accreditation provides learners with knowledge and understanding of dangers associated with asbestos.

This accreditation ensures that learners who may potentially encounter asbestos during their normal work activities are suitably trained to be aware of its dangers to health and are accredited to the National Occupational Standard (NOS). This accreditation does NOT train learners to work with any asbestos containing materials.
