PRINCE2® Foundation

PRINCE2 is internationally recognised as the leading 'best-practice' project management approach within government and the private sector; leading organisations have already introduced PRINCE2 world-wide. It addresses the needs of management by providing the governance structure for effective project management and control.

The focus is on the key processes, components and techniques needed for successful project management, providing those responsible for planning and managing projects with a structured and practical approach for projects of all sizes and types.

Overview
This course will equip the delegate with detailed knowledge of the PRINCE2 method including the eight processes, eight components and three techniques central to the PRINCE2 method. It focuses delegates on the effective use of PRINCE2 within real projects, as well as giving an excellent success rate in the multiple choice industry-recognised Foundation examination. The course includes exercises, examination practice, discussion and questions.

This is a 3 day course.

Prerequisites, evening study and examinations
Delegates should have some experience of projects. Pre-course materials are issued before the course, with a recommended twenty hours of self-study. Some evening work is advised during the course. Delegates take a 1 hour multiple choice Foundation paper on the third day.
