Who Should Attend:

A 5 day course for initial training which is perfect for Operators with little to no experience.

Course Contents:

- Location and avoidance of underground apparatus.
- Signing, lighting and guarding.
- Excavation in the highway.
- Reinstatement and compaction of backfill materials.
- Reinstatement of sub-base and road base in non-bituminous materials.
- Reinstatement in cold-lay bituminous materials.
- Reinstatement in hot-lay bituminous materials.
- Reinstatement of concrete slabs.
- Reinstatement of modular surfaces and concrete footways.

Certification:

Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will achieve the NRSWA Operatives card covering units 1-6 & 9 which is valid for 5 years
