The NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety builds on the general understanding of health and safety gained from studying other certificate level awards and is designed specifically for those with safety responsibilities in the oil and gas industry.

The NEBOSH Oil and Gas Certificate is designed as a specialist sector-specific supplement to the NEBOSH National General Certificate or NEBOSH International General Certificate and NEBOSH recommends that students must hold one of these awards or an equivalent prior to undertaking the Oil and Gas Certificate.

The International Oil & Gas Certificate is a specialist qualification for people in the oil and gas industry who are responsible for ensuring safety as part of their day to day duties.

This qualification highlights the importance of process safety management in the oil and gas industry and focuses on management systems and international standards, enabling students to effectively discharge workplace safety responsibilities both onshore and offshore.

Unit IOG1 Management of international oil and gas health and safety

The qualification is assessed by a single written examination (IOG1).

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
