NEBOSH International Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety

Who Should Attend:

Individuals with specific health and safety responsibilities in on-shore or off-shore oil and gas operations and require a nationally recognised qualification in health and safety to demonstrate competence.

Course Objectives:

To provide a formal vocational qualification in Oil and Gas Safety, examined to NVQ level 3.

Course Contents:

Element 1 - Health, Safety & Environmental Management in Context
Element 2 - Hydrocarbon Process Safety 1
Element 3 - Hydrocarbon Process Safety 2
Element 4 - Fire Protection and Emergency Response
Element 5 - Logistics and Transport Operations

Course Outcomes:

There will be 1 (2 hour) exam paper, IOG1 with short bullet style and essay type questions.

Pre-requisites:

It is strongly recommended that delegates have previously completed NGC1, the first week of the NEBOSH General Certificate, but it is not mandatory. Experience of oil and gas operations will be beneficial also.
