This Qualification is ideal for anyone wishing to become a Mental Health First Aider, under the new HSE guidelines it is becoming increasingly advisable every workplace makes provisions for mental first aid as they would for physical first aid.

Who is the course for?

- Anyone in an organisation who desire to learn more about mental health
- Anyone with management responsibilities whom could benefit from the training
- Anyone who will receive support and time to fulfil their role once trained
- Any organisation who want to reduce absenteeism, promote wellbeing and a positive forum with no mental health boundaries and support the mental health process

Course Outcomes

- Deeper understanding or the issues and impact to people’s mental health
- Taught practical skills, boost knowledge and feel confident and able to spot the signs
- Increase awareness and mental health literacy
- Reduce stigma associated with mental health issues and learn to assess risks non-judgementally
- Through assisted pathways promote early intervention and/or enable a speedier recovery
- Create critical incident documents as and when necessary

Certification

To achieve certification the candidates will be assessed throughout the course and participation during any activities and discussions should be wholehearted.

This qualification is valid for 3 years and re-qualification is required on/by the expiry date.

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
