Who is it for: People who already certified as an IRATA Level 1 rope access technician and have completed the required hours within a rope access role.

Course Description:
A level 2 (lead technician) is defined as a technician who is capable of rigging working lines, undertaking rescues & performing other rope access tasks under the supervision of a level 3.
Candidates must have 1,000 hours logged as a Level 1 and have held a valid Level 1 certificate for 12 months prior to enrolling on this course.
An intermediate technician is capable of rigging working ropes, undertaking rescues and performing a variety of rope access tasks. They should have knowledge of legislation, safety requirements and quality assurance procedures relating to rope access.
IRATA Rope Access Level 2 is the intermediate qualification and is a stepping stone towards the IRATA level 3 certificate.
