Summary

 
IOSH Working Safely is designed for people at any level to gain an understanding of the essentials of health and safety. It focuses on why health and safety is important and how individuals can positively contribute to health and safety within their organisation and to ensure that individual responsibilities are clearly understood.
 
Who Should Attend?
 
This course is intended for anyone in the workplace, including supervisors and safety specialists, with the responsibility of identifying hazards in the workplace and reducing or controlling the risks to personnel exposed to them. 
 
 Course Content
 
Delegates attending this course will: 
 
1. Be able to define hazards and risks and understand the impact on workplace safety
 
2. Understand the ethical and moral considerations
 
3. Have an awareness of legal considerations
 
4. Gain a greater understanding of improving safety performance
 
On Completion
 
Delegate who successfully complete the written and practical assessments can choose between IOSH’ Working Safely certificate or a credit card-sized ‘passport’ card.
