Course Aim:

The flexible new high impact programme covers all the main health and safety issues, and includes a session tackling the environment too.

Who Should Attend?

Managing Safely is a course for managers and supervisors in any sector and any organisation. It’s designed to give managers all they need to know to help them handle health and safety in their teams.

Course Content:

The course is split into 8 modules as follows:

• Introducing Managing Safely
• Assessing Risks
• Controlling Risks
• Understanding your Responsibilities
• Identifying Hazards
• Investigation Accidents & Incidents
• Measuring performance
• Protecting our Environment

Assessment and Certification:

At the end of the course there is a short assessment that will go towards the delegates pass mark.

Delegates are required to complete a small project that will also go towards the delegates pass mark.

On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive an IOSH Managing Safely Certificate.

Additional Information:

- If you are booking on behalf of the candidate, please provide the training provider with an email address to ensure your delegate can join the course and their home address for sending the course publication to them.
- The link for the online course will be emailed to your delegate 2 working days prior to course commencement.

The IT requirements for this course are as follows:

- A laptop or PC with a webcam and microphone
- Reliable internet connection - super fast or fibre optic internet
- Our preferred browser for delegates to use is Google Chrome, however Firefox or Internet explorer will suffice

- Delegates will be required to show photographic ID to confirm their identity at the start of the course. Please ensure they have with them a valid CSCS Card, Driving Licence or Passport.
