Face Fit Train the Tester

This HSE approved Face Fit Train the Tester course will ensure that you have the required knowledge and practical skills to conduct Face Fit Testing in the workplace where there’s a risk of exposure to respiratory hazards. Where RPE is used, it must be able to provide adequate protection for individual wearers and therefore this course will be taught in line with the HSG 53 and INDG 479, and other associated legislation such as COSHH. A Face Fit Test is a procedure that ensures the RPE you use fits correctly to protect against hazards identified in a risk assessment. This courses focuses on the Qualitative (QLFT) test protocol and is taught by an accredited and experienced FIT2FIT approved tester.

Any person who may conduct Face Fit testing, Health and Safety Managers, Officers or anyone who is devising a fit testing programme in the workplace or, wishes to deliver testing to the gold standard.

Upon successful completion, attendees will receive an in-house accredited certificate of attendance for Face Fit Train the Trainer (QLFT)
