EUSR SHEA Water Renewal - Online Classroom

The ½ day EUSR SHEA WATER RENEWAL courses provide a uniform approach to health, safety and environmental awareness for those working on operational sites. 

Developed in collaboration with the industry and key stakeholders this course ensures you will meet the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines.

Who Should Attend: 

Individuals Candidates MUST have a valid in date SHEA WATER registration that has a minimum of 7 days remaining to be entitled to attend this course. It is for anyone who is involved in the operational activities of the WATER industry who require access to sites, both permanent and temporary, including all levels of operatives, supervisors and management.

Course Information: 

The course follows a modular approach with nine modules in total. Six of the modules are designated as ‘core’ modules, which are pertinent for all utility sectors. The other three modules are specific to the WATER industry.

The modules covered are:
•    Module 1: Understanding our workplace responsibilities
•    Module 2: Understanding the effects of our work on the environment
•    Module 3: Identifying and controlling risks
•    Module 4: Common hazards in the workplace
•    Module 5: Occupational health hazards
•    Module 6: Responding to emergencies
•    Module 7: Sewerage network and process operations
•    Module 8: Highway working and excavations

To gain the EUSR SHEA Water Renewal registration certificate candidates must complete all modules

Assessment: 

SHEA assessments are multiple choice and structured so that there is a single test at the end of the refresher session. Candidates are expected to already have knowledge needed to be successful.  

Certification:

Learners will receive an EUSR photo ID card with the qualification stated on the back.
SHEA WATER EUSR registration is valid for three years

The SHEA WATER Scheme is partnered with CSCS to allow WATER industry workers access to construction sites for utilities works with the need for a separate CSCS card.
