Our Emergency First Aid at Work course is a fun, action packed day with lots of practical scenarios to ensure you feel confident and happy to deal with life threatening First Aid emergencies. The highly experienced emergency service trainer will use their own real life experiences to aid your learning for First Aid emergencies. You will explore basic First Aid for both adults and children, life saving techniques, alongside ways to manage individuals and groups during an emergency situation.

To understand the role of a first aider and enable learners to gain the knowledge and set of practical skills needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations. in a safe, prompt, educated manner.
Who is it for?
This 6 hour course is Ideal for members of the workplace who wish to acquire Basic First Aid techniques and Life Support. This course complies with the HSE 1981 emergency first aid at work legislation.
Course Duration: 6 hours of training over 1 day
Assessment and Qualification:
All our trainers are current serving Fire Fighters with teaching qualifications and plenty of real life experiences.
Our expert trainers will assess students throughout the day. This assessment will be through observation along with a straightforward written exercise.
All students are awarded a recognised First Aid Certificate which is valid for 3 years. You will also receive a first aid manual and pocket card. Course Content:
- Role of a First Aider - Priorities of First Aid - Managing an Incident - Causes and care of the unconscious casualty - Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - Anaphylaxis - Choking - Record Keeping & Accident Reporting - Burns and Scalds - Bleeding and Shock - Manage the Transportation of a Casualty
