Who Should Attend? The Experienced Worker course is suitable for operatives who use Telehandlers on a day to day basis.
Pre-requisites: Candidates must have successfully passed the CSCS Health, Safety and Environment touchscreen test within the past two years.
Course Duration:
- Day 1: Theory training
- Day 2: CPCS theory and practical tests
Endorsements Available: A: Industrial Telescopic, B: Up to 9 metres, C: all sizes (excl. 360 slew)*
Course Details:
- Roles and responsibilities.
- Regulations and legislation.
- Undertake all pre-use inspection checks.
- Travel over rough, undulating ground, steep inclines and level surfaces - loaded and unloaded.
- Manoeuvre in confined spaces with or without load.
- Actions required for hazards, underground and overhead services.
- Lift and remove various loads up to full extension and working height of the Telehandler.
- Transfer and place loads accurately at given locations.
- Shut down procedures.
- Regulations and legislation.
- Undertake all pre-use inspection checks.

Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a CPCS Trained Operator 'Red' card which is valid for two years.
*Please note that as a standard, open CPCS Telescopic Handler courses are run as A17C
