Attendees: This CISRS accredited course for people who have held CISRS Trainee or Labourer card for 6 months

Objectives: To give the attendees such knowledge and skills to enable them to erect, alter and dismantle basic scaffolds

Theory & Practical on Erection & Dismantle of Independent Scaffold With Ladder Access Bay & Return
Theory & Practical on Alterations to Independent Scaffold to Include Triangulated Buttress and Hop-up Brackets.
Theory & Practical on Erection & Dismantle of Scaffold Structures Using Prefabricated Transom Units
Theory & Practical on Erection & Dismantle of Birdcage Scaffold
Theory & Practical on Erection & Dismantle of Tower Scaffold
Theory & Practical on Erection & Dismantle of Putlog Scaffold
Theory & Practical on Gin wheels & Rope knots Used in Scaffolding

Certification: Successful delegates will receive a CISRS Part 1 certificate

Entry-Requirements: Prior to attending a CISRS Part One Scaffolding course, the delegate(s) must have held a CISRS Labourer or Trainee card for a minimum of six months. Delegates must also hold a CITB HS&E test taken within two years of the course date, or hold a CISRS recognised exemption.
