The CIEH Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work consists of two units that will enable successful delegates to act as a first aider in their workplace.
- Unit 1: Emergency First Aid in the workplace
- Unit 2: Recognition and management of illness and injury in the workplace.

Anyone identified by their employer as being suitable to take on the role of a first aider in the workplace.

Practical assessment, activity booklet and an exam. Successful candidates will receive a certificate from the CIEH which is valid for 3 years and is Ofqual accredited.
Duration:
The course has a minimum contact time of 18 hours. This is normally split over 3 days. The course can be run in-house for up to 12 learners per instructor; however larger groups can be accommodated upon request.
