Asbestos Awareness training course is designed to inform delegates on how to identify asbestos and the correct procedures to adhere to in the event asbestos is discovered or a suspected asbestos containing material (ACM's) is discovered. This course is designed for persons who may have management or asbestos responsibilities at work. Covers HSE guidance and more about the hidden killer asbestos.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the workshop delegates should be able to:

- Understand the legislation behind the control of asbestos

- Demonstrate and understand the correct procedures in the event of ACM's are identified and how to implement effectively

- Understand the correct emergency response procedures and how to deal with asbestos exposure

- Delegates will demonstrate by assessment they understand the emergency procedures when asbestos discoveries occur

- Teaches delegates what asbestos is, what to look for and how to identify asbestos

- Helps ensure asbestos is disposed of and controlled correctly
