The CPCS Crane Supervisor course which aims to instruct delegates how to safely supervise a lifting operation to ensure compliance with the law and secure the health and safety of all employees and of those who may be affected by their actions.
Requirements

- Candidate’s full name
- Candidate's date of birth
- National insurance number
- CITB number
- The date the Health Safety & Environment Test was passed
Please be advised that any candidate wishing to attend a CPCS course must hold a valid Health, Safety & Environment Test which has been taken within the last 2 years. Any candidate who books onto this course and does not hold this prior to the technical tests will be unable to sit the technical tests and will not be eligible for a refund.
Candidates who fail to achieve the minimum standard required will not be eligible for a refund.

- Theory and Practical assessments for CPCS Red Card Crane Supervisor.
Knowledge
On completion of the CPCS Crane Supervisor training course delegates will have sufficient knowledge and information to safely supervise lifting operations for mobile cranes on a busy construction site. Delegates will be advised of the necessary managerial and practical considerations in supervising lifting operations and will be given the opportunity to put this information into practice, during simulated workshop lift plan exercises in the training room.
Method
A high proportion of hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises will be supplemented with classroom based tutorials and pre and post course assessments.
Additional Information
Delegates should provide a passport photograph on the day of training for production of ID Cards.
Delegates should inform their trainer if they have any serious health issues, physical problems, special considerations or are taking any medication, which may create difficulties in undertaking elements of this training course.
The content of the CPCS Crane Supervisor course includes awareness of periodic examinations of equipment. The CPCS Crane Supervisor course does not provide full training in maintenance of equipment. Additional training relating to this subject may be of benefit to delegates (further information available upon request).
*Please be advised that due to time restrictions only three delegates can be tested per day, resulting in some delegates having to take their CPCS Theory and Practical technical tests the following day.
