IPAF Demonstrator Training

This 1-day IPAF course is aimed at anyone needing to demonstrate or handover an MEWP to a third party. The course is designed to train delegates to a Demonstrator level, so they can familiarise operators with their responsibilities, pre-operational and safe operating procedures, and the limitations of MEWPs.

IPAF Course Detail

The IPAF Demonstrator course is carried out over 1 day, covering all content relevant to familiarising others to working with MEWPs.This includes:

• Practical demonstrations
• Effective demonstrations
• PPE & Harness statement
• The different categories of MEWPs
• Handovers
• The responsibilities of the operator
• The course is assessed through the Demonstrator Theory and Practical Tests, which result in a PASS or FAIL.

Course Delivery

Delegates for the IPAF Demonstrator training course must have successfully passed the IPAF Operator Course prior to attending and hold a valid IPAF PAL Operator Card in the relevant category that they wish to be trained in to Demonstrator level. 

The IPAF Demonstrator course does not generally have open course dates. The course can be run at a registered IPAF training centre or at a customer’s premises, as long as the venue and equipment meet pre-requisite requirements.

Successful delegates will receive an IPAF Certificate of Training and IPAF PAL Photo ID Card, which is valid for 5 years.
