Asbestos Training Courses

Asbestos can be a considerable danger to health with more people dying from an asbestos related disease per year than are killed on the roads. Asbestos is particularly relevant to electricians, plumbers and other trades allied to the construction industry. Courses in this category therefore relate to asbestos management, asbestos awareness, asbestos removal and asbestos testing.

Working with Asbestos is regulated under The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. These regulations now supersede The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 and contain requirements for certain types of non-licensable work with asbestos including notification of work, designating areas when working on asbestos, medical surveillance and record keeping.

Note:- The now superseded the 2006 regulations combined three previous sets of regulations covering the prohibition of asbestos, the control of asbestos at work and asbestos licensing.
