This CITB TWCTC Refresher course aims to bring the candidate’s knowledge up-to-date with the latest changes in legislation and how these affect temporary works operations. Training is considered an essential element for Temporary Works Coordinators.

Course content:
This CITB course includes the following elements:
• The importance of the 4 C’s - Communication, Co-ordination, Co-operation and Competency
• The role of the Temporary Works Coordinator and the roles of others
• Risk assessments and method statements
• Management of the temporary works process as outlined in BS 5975:2019
• Statutory aspects of temporary works, including updates to regulations and guidance.

Assessment:
Candidates will be continually assessed during the course. There is a multiple-choice assessment test at the end of the course.

Duration:
1 day course

Certification:
Successful candidates will receive a CITB Site Safety Plus certificate, which is issued on completion and valid for 5 years.
