Overview
This half day course covers how to remain compliant in the industry requirements. It aims to ensure that site based traffic management is delivered safely and of high quality. The course intends to provide attendees with an understanding of the risks related to the movement of vehicles on site.
Course Content

- The roles and responsibilities of a colleagues involved.
- Health and Safety at Work Act.traffic management
- CDM.
- Setting safety standards and work procedures.
- Working to the relevant health and safety regulations.
- Terminology of traffic management.
- Pedestrian and vehicle routes.
- Inspection of vehicles.
- Signalling.
- Risk Management.
- How to layout the site safely.
The course is delivered through a range of theory based to tutorials and practical demonstrations. The activities will go over site restrictions and rules, loading and lifting operations and identifying hazards. As well as PPE, recognising visibility clothing, banksman signals and HSG114.

The Traffic Management course is suited to anyone working on roads. From construction workers, fence installers, traffic management operatives to highway inspectors and everyone in between.
Further Development
On completion of the training delegates will be able to identify risks and hazards. As well as choosing the correct equipment or vehicle for to complete a job safely. They will also have gain knowledge in how to administer signals to drivers clearly and safely.
