Course Introduction
The TQUK Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (QCF), contains competence based units, therefore learners must be working in an appropriate school environment for a minimum of 12 hours per week. This can include voluntary and unpaid work.
There may be a requirement, by their employer, for learners to be checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service or if they intend to work with learners who are covered by these regulations (formerly Criminal Records Bureau (CRB)). It is the learner’s responsibility to seek advice from their employer regarding this.
Learners must be at least 16 years of age at certification.
Course Overview
Learners must achieve 32 credits from 11 mandatory units to be awarded the TQUK Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (QCF)

Course Assessment
These qualifications are assessed through activities which are developed by the centre, and are internally marked and sampled as part of quality assurance/internal verification procedures. The assessment and quality assurance process will be subject to external quality assurance/verification by TQUK. Assessment must meet the requirements of the Training and Development Agency for Schools QCF Assessment Principles. The qualification contains some units which must be assessed in line with Skills for Care and Development’s QCF Assessment Principles.
Course Delivery Methods
This qualification is delivered as a blended learning course. The knowledge based units are completed using our online learning portal by accessing the work book to complete the tasks. There are also observational units that are required to be completed that are evidenced by a qualified mentor such as a qualified teacher, as with all of our courses
The Level 3 Certificate comes with full tutor support for the duration of your studies. Complete this course through a combination of home study and a portfolio of practical evidence from your work in the classroom.
