Course Description 


SSSTS Refresher Courses aims to bring their health and safety knowledge up to date, as well as giving a thorough overview of legislative changes and their impact in the workplace.

Who Should Attend
This one-day course is for delegates who have previously passed the full two-day Site Supervisor’s Safety Training Scheme or subsequent one-day Refresher course and can provide proof of attendance.

Course Content

The course includes a wide range of topics, some building on those contained within the two-day course programme and others introducing new subjects.

Assessment & Award
Coursework is assessed by the instructor throughout the course, via work produced by syndicate exercises and individual participation. There is also a 30 minute, 25 question, objective multiple-choice examination at the end of the course. 

Duration

The SSSTS Refresher Course lasts one day, 8.30 am – 5 pm. Course times will be confirmed in the joining instructions once the course has been booked.
 
Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a CITB accredited certificate which is valid for five years. 

Please note that as of the 1st January 2016, CITB Site Management / Site Supervisor certificates will no longer have a six month grace period and candidates will need to attend a Refresher course before the expiry date of their original certificate. 
The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
