SSSTS (CITB) Refresher – Site Supervisor Training – Online Classroom

This refresher course is designed for individuals who have previously completed the two-day Site Supervisor Safety Training course and can provide proof of successful attendance. The course ensures that participants’ health and safety knowledge remains up to date while offering a comprehensive review of recent legislative changes and their impact in the workplace. It covers a broad range of topics influenced by updates to industry procedures, building on the content of the original training.

Course Objectives
The refresher course aims to:
Increase awareness of current trends in health and safety enforcement and regulatory direction.
Enhance knowledge of recent developments in construction, legislation, health and safety, welfare, and environmental concerns.
Identify practical measures to support compliance with new legislation and evolving workplace practices.

Learning Outcomes
Upon completing the course, participants will be able to:
Understand and apply updated health, safety, welfare, and environmental legislation
relevant to their supervisory role.
Implement new industry guidance and best practices influenced by recent changes.
Recognise their responsibilities concerning health, safety, welfare, and environmental management.

Eligibility
This course is only available to individuals who hold a valid Site Supervisor certificate and have provided evidence of this before attending. Those who do not complete the refresher course before their current certificate expires will be required to retake the full
Site Supervisor Safety Training course to maintain their certification.

Candidates will require:

- A laptop/computer with camera, fast internet connection, speakers and microphone (tablets/smartphones are not suitable) 
- A quiet room, free from distractions to complete the course in 
- A form of photo ID

Certification
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a CITB accredited certificate which is valid for five years
