Course Overview:

The SPA Food & Drink Safety Passport is a two-day health and safety course designed specifically for those working in the food and drink manufacturing sector. 

Day 1 covers the SPA Core Day, providing a solid foundation in general workplace health and safety - including legal responsibilities, risk assessment, hazard awareness and accident prevention. 

Day 2 focuses on sector-specific content for food and drink environments, including topics such as:

- Food hygiene and contamination risks
- Safe systems of work
- Cleaning procedures and allergen control
- Industry-spectific hazards and best practices

This course is ideal for operatives, engineers, contractors and visitors working on food and drink manufacturing sites. On completion, candidates receive the SPA Food & Drink Passport, demonstrating they understand how to work safely and compliantly within the industry. 

For online training, candidates will require:

- A form of valid photo ID
- A quiet room, free from distractions, to complete the course in 
- A laptop/computer with webcame, microphone, speakers and fast internet connection (course cannot be completed on a phone or tablet)
