UNIT 15 ONLY

This unit is designed to allow the learner to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to monitor the reinstatement of concrete slabs. The learner will be able to monitor preparation and construction of the concrete slab and will be able to monitor site safety throughout concrete slab reinstatement.

There are 6 learning outcomes to this unit which contain various elements, all of which must be achieved in order to pass this unit.

Assessment
The candidate will have written coursework and question sets along with carrying out tests on the concrete.

Reference material used will be the Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways, Specification for Highway Works series 1000, HSG 47 and HSG150.

Certification
Upon successful completion the unit can be added to an existing SWQR card as long as the holder already holds units 1 & 10 as a minimum.
