Course Overview
This course is suitable for both operatives and supervisors assigned to sign, light and guard any road in the highway as part of their job. Candidates can attend both the operatives (unit 2) and supervisors (unit 10) course but this must be done separately. Please note that on the highway an individual cannot act as the supervisor of their own operatives works, a separate individual must be assigned to each task.
Course Content
The NRSWA signing, lighting and guarding (SLG) course is designed to give both operatives and supervisors the knowledge and skills to set out traffic lights, signs, barriers and cones.
