This Site Safety Plus course is for you if you're considering, or already, working within the construction and civil engineering industry.
This course highlights potential hazards when working on site and provides practical advice on keepying yourself and your colleagues safe. It covers your individual and employer's responsibilities, including what you can do if you think anyone's health and safety is being put at risk.

Health & Safety Awareness course for operatives working on a construction site, demolition, quarry, waste and recycling industries.
Course Content:
- Relevant Health & safety, Law & regulations, HSE
- Understanding employers & employee's roles & responsibilities
- Hazards and danger in the work place, risk assessments, SSOW emergency & rescue plans
- Correct selection of control measures & PPE
- High risk activities - WAH, confined spaces, electricity, transport etc
- Occupational health - noise, vibration, dust & asbestos, COSHH & manual handling
- Emergency procedures - fire & first aid
- Theory test
- Applying for CITB CSCS green card
- Course close & review
Certification:
Certification for this course is valid for five years. To remain certified in this area, you will need to retake the course before the expiry date.
