First Aid at Work - 3 Day - Blended Learning

Who Should Attend: This course is ideal for employees in higher-risk workplaces—such as construction, manufacturing, and warehousing—where a thorough understanding of first aid is crucial.

The course combines online learning with practical, face-to-face sessions, offering a flexible approach to first aid certification.

This course is designed to meet full HSE requirements, ensuring participants are well-equipped to handle workplace emergencies.

Course Structure:

•    Days 1 & 2:  Self-paced e-learning module focusing on topics such as sepsis, asthma, diabetes, and head injuries. This online component must be completed before the final practical day. Please note, if the online component is not completed, cadndiates will not be able to take part in day 3 and will automatically fail the course.
•    Day 3: In-person training emphasising advanced topics like fractures, spinal injuries, heart-related conditions, and anaphylaxis,  covering essential first aid skills, including CPR, use of an AED, managing unresponsive casualties, and treating severe bleeding.   culminating in a comprehensive assessment. 
   

Certification: Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate valid for three years, recognised by all governing bodies and accreditation centers.
