Who is this course for?
A Health & Safety Executive recommended, non-assessed course. This is the minimum level of First Aid training for the workplace, and also suitable for first aid needs in social and domestic settings.
What are the entry requirements?
There are no entry requirements other than candidates are recommended to wear comfortable clothing and be prepared for taking part in practical work at floor level.

Course Content:
To be able to provide basic life support delegates will receive training in a range of Appointed Person First Aid subjects, including:
- Scene Assessment and Barrier Use
- Primary Assessment and CPR
- Choking Adult
- Serious Bleeding Management
- Shock Management
- Spinal Injury Management
- Caring for specific injuries and illnesses
Important Information
Please ensure all delegates are free of any condition that will prohibit them from participating fully during the practical aspects of the first aid course.
Course Outcome
