Who Should Attend:

The Experienced course is suitable for operatives who use the Forward Tipping Dumper on a daily basis.

Pre-requisites:

Candidates must have successfully passed the CSCS Health, Safety and Environment touchscreen test for Operatives within the past two years.

Course content:

- Roles and Responsibilities.
-Controls and terminology.
- Regulations and legislation.
- Pre-use inspection checks.
- Loaded and unloaded travelling over rough, undulation ground, steep inclines and level surfaces.
- Hazards, underground and overhead services.
- Receiving Loads
- Loading procedure compliance.
- Load integrity and security.
- Transfer and discharge of loads into trenches and over edges.
- Confined space manoeuvring.
- Shut down procedures.

Teaching and assessment:

- 1 day learning through a mix of classroom-based teaching and practical exercises
- 1 day assessment - CPCS technical tests theory & practical

Certification:

CPCS Trained Operator Card (red card) on passing the CPCS technical tests valid for two years.
