In this course you will learn how to overcome these challenges, using a range of tools and techniques to lead your team, for the benefit of your business.

On this course you will be covering…
› Learning how to lead without authority - Exploring different approaches to leading teams along with tools and techniques that you can apply in your role
› Goal setting - Through a range of activities you will practice setting and communicating goals, targets and deadlines, that are aligned to organisational goals and objectives
› Monitoring performance - Learning to identify performance, capability, and conduct issues at source and without delay, taking appropriate steps to remedy situations and develop your team toward high performance working
› Holding difficult conversations - You will practice having challenging conversations and exploring ways to resolve conflict. You will plan ways in which you can prepare for different scenarios you might face in work
› Motivating in the workplace - Thinking about and sharing practical methods for motivating individuals and teams, to build a shared drive for results
› Developing others - Practice using uncomplicated but impactful people development tools and techniques to improve your peoples’ performance

There is no assessment for this course. That means no exams, tests, or assignments. The key to success on this course is your full participation and willingness to explore new ways of doing things.
On the course, your trainer will assist you in the development of a ‘personal development and action plan’ that you can use to focus your attention when getting back to work.
