Course Content
This classroom-based 18th edition electrical course covers the full content of BS 7671:IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition.
You will cover the regulations as they apply to the design, erection and verification of electrical installations. The course also includes additions and alterations to existing installations.
The City & Guilds award consists of one unit named 'Understand the Requirements of Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 (2022)'
This unit provides learners with an understanding of the full content of BS 7671 and its application to electrical installations within its scope.

Assessment
The 18th edition qualification will be assessed via a multiple-choice online test conducted in our training centre.
This is an open-book assessment, and learners can reference the IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition: BS7671:2018 (2022) book, which is provided at the cost of your training.
On the on-screen test, you must answer 60 questions in 120 minutes. During the exam, you will be able to use a non-programmable calculator.
Assessment Pass Mark - To pass the exam and gain the award, you must achieve a 60% or above score.
