Working at Height

Working at height training provides the knowledge and skills you need to minimize risks of falls and injuries.  

The training covers relevant legislation, risk assessment, equipment use (like ladders, scaffolding, MEWPs and harnesses), and emergency procedures. It's designed for individuals working at height or supervising those who do. 

What we cover:

•    Legal Requirements:
Understanding the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and other relevant legislation is crucial. 
 
•    Risk Assessment:
Identifying potential hazards and implementing control measures to prevent falls and other injuries. 
 
•    Equipment Use:
Proper selection, inspection, and safe use of equipment like ladders, scaffolding, harnesses, and fall arrest systems. 
 
•    Emergency Procedures:
Knowing how to respond to accidents, including suspension trauma and rescue plans. 
 
•    Hierarchy of Controls:
Understanding and applying the principle of eliminating or minimizing risks before resorting to personal protective equipment. 
 
•    Practical Skills:
Selecting the equipment for task. using and implementing safety measures.
