Objectives:
To ensure companies meet all requirements of the first aid at work regulations 1981

To ensure delegates have a full understanding of the basic principles to be carried out in the event of an accident in the workplace.

All levels of personnel within all industries, who have been nominated for first aid duties.

Training method:
A highly participative course, with both theory and practical sessions highlighted by the use of models and video presentations.

Courses can be arranged to meet client's timetables and work schedules. As an alternative places can be booked onto our open / multi client based courses

A room large enough, with an electrical supply, will be required for the theory session for deliver on clients premises.

Number of delegates:
As little as one delegate can enrol on to our scheduled open courses.

In-company courses can be arranged for a minimum of eight delegates and accommodate a maximum of twelve

Start time:
08:30 am

This course meets the criteria for CITB grants. CITB registered companies will be able to claim £35.00 per person for this course.

The UTN administration section will give full support for the application of this grant.

Lunch is provide on all courses run at UTN's Training Centre

In addition to this one-day course, UTN also offer the four-day First Aid at Work course and the two-day re-certification course.
